Non-uniform on Friday 7 April 2017

TO ALL PARENTS / GUARDIANS

22 March 2017

Dear Parent / Guardian

I am writing to confirm that students will be allowed to attend school wearing non-uniform, on Friday, 7 April 2017.  The non-uniform day will be to raise money for a community defibrillator and therefore we kindly ask for a minimum donation of £2.00 for this worthy cause.

Hampshire County Council is supporting the ‘Oliver King Foundation’ initiative and is encouraging all schools to have lifesaving defibrillator equipment on their premises.
The school will need to raise £1000 to take part in this initiative which will pay for one defibrillator and training for up to 12 people.

Tutors will begin to collect donations from the start of this week commencing Monday,
3 April 2017.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your support and any donations that you can make.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at the school if you have any questions or queries about the planned non-uniform day.

Yours faithfully

Mr C Edwards
Headteacher
