Brighton Hill Community School - Silver Kitemark

We are delighted to announce that Brighton Hill Community School has been awarded Silver in the Sainsburys School Games Kitemark Awards 2012-13.  This Kitemark is awarded to schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their own school and the wider school community.

The award is testament to the continued development of our well-established School Sport Programme operating both within and outside of the curriculum.  The award recognises both the excellent initiatives being undertaken within PE Curriculum Time as well as the varied and high quality Extra-curricular Programme.  This includes the many leadership opportunities we offer our students to develop themselves by being involved in leading, managing and officiating activities within the School’s PE Curriculum and Extra-curricular Programme as well as going into our local Primary Schools to lead activities.
