Exam Results - 2016/17

Here at Brighton Hill Community School, we are absolutely thrilled by the set of results which our departing Class of 2017 has achieved.  The work ethic they showed, combined of course with the unwavering support of their teachers and parents, ensured that they secured outcomes of which they can be exceptionally proud.

Overall, 79% of our students achieved a good pass (4+) in English and 72% achieved a good pass (4+) in Maths.  67% of our students managed to achieve this level or above in both subjects.

There was also great success in Science, with the A*-C rates achieved by our triple scientists in Biology, Chemistry and Physics exceeding 94%!

More generally, we are delighted that 96% of our students achieved 5 passes at GCSE level and 74% of our students were awarded at least one A/A* or equivalent.  Furthermore, 27% managed at least three A/A* or equivalent and an incredible 10% earned five or more A/A*s!

There were exceptional performances from individual students across the board, with far too many to mention them all individually, but special congratulations go to Luke who achieved our first level 9 in Maths and to Prakritee who was our overall top points scorer with a string of A*s.

Congratulations to all of our students and we look forward to welcoming you back for your celebration evening later in the year.
