We have carefully devised our tutor programme for each year group to meet their age appropriate needs and complement their subject learning journeys through further delivery of literacy, numeracy and employability skills, weaving in Values strands throughout the programme.
For Autumn Half-Term 1, we delivered a bespoke Recovery Tutor Programme to help our students settle back into school life after studying from home during the Summer Term of 2020. This included Reconnect, Re-build and Re-frame sessions with a focus on helping students to settle back into school life, come to terms with the unusual and potentially unsettling circumstances of school closure in the summer term and re-adjust to the social elements of school life, and Re-learn sessions which were designed to help students to refresh their learning skills so that they could optimise their ability to make progress in lessons and during independent study – for home learning and in the event that there were further periods of remote learning.
From Autumn Half-Term 2, the tables below are a summary of the programme for each Year group with links to further detailed explanations of the key sessions.
