Student Voice
The all new BHCS Student Council
Along with the other exciting changes this year to the House Cup, Brighton Hill Community School has also relaunched our Student Voice. At the front and centre of this strategy to drive school improvement, is our Student Council. The group of students will meet every week to discuss key themes that will help develop the school. The working groups that the students have divided into are:
- Charity Group
- Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Group
- Healthy Eating and Site Development
- Sustainability
The Student Council consists of one representative per House, per year group. Therefore, there are four Student Councillors per year group, making it a group of 20 students in total. Additionally, it is chaired by our wonderful Head Boy and Head Girl, Caden Farmer and Mia Lyons.
I cannot wait to see the Student Council begin to have an impact across the school in the upcoming weeks and months.
It is certainly a very exciting time to be at Brighton Hill!
