Year 9

Welcome to the Head of Year 9 page – I am lucky enough to have been with the Class of 2025 since the end of Year 7 and look forward to supporting them throughout their time at Brighton Hill. Year 9 is a crucial year for students as they begin their GCSE Option Choices and are now considered to be in Key Stage 4.

Throughout Year 9, there will be plenty of support for both academic and pastoral needs, and I will always be on hand to deal with any issues, worries or concerns. Please do not hesitate to email me, or leave a message with reception. Please also be aware that due to a full teaching load, appointments with me will need to be pre-arranged.

This year I am lucky enough to have the support of Miss Arundale, who is working as the Deputy Head of Year 9 and will oversee several projects, including focussing on improving attendance within the year group.

End of March 2023 – Year 9 Exam Series
