Year 11
It has been an amazing first two weeks of term and Year 11 have been absolutely fantastic. In my first assembly of the year, I revealed our year group motto ‘Write your legacy’, and the response has been incredible with students hitting the ground running, so much so that we have seen a number of students attending revision sessions as early as 7:30am.
The year group have demonstrated the BHCS 4 corner stones with their ongoing commitment, courage, collaboration and kindness. We had over 25% of the year group attending the first house event of the year last week and I’m expecting many more this week at Yr 10/11 Art (I’m hoping for a Voyager victory this week!).
I endeavour to send out a message to parents and careers every half-term and will keep you updated on all things year 11. Please see below for key dates for the students, including in-school and college open evening dates for the diary. The next instalment will contain information regarding Zone 11 (revision sessions run by each faculty) and hopefully a prom date.
